My computer was hacked(非法侵入) the other day. I visited a website and suddenly the screen began to flash, with a warning message saying there's a mistake and I should call Microsoft for help. I couldn't turn the flashing screen off and the phone number was right there so I phoned them. MISTAKE NUMBER ONE.

A lady answered the phone saying "Microsoft help desk". That sounded right so I told her what was happening on my screen and she said she could help me out. She gave me instructions and 1 followed her. MISTAKE NUMBERTWO.

For the next fifteen minutes the woman scanned(扫描) my computer and did lots of things to "fix" it. Things were happening on my screen so I thought she was just doing the right thing. MISTAKENUMBER THREE.

Finally, the woman told me that in order to prevent such problem from happening again I should pay for a fire walk(防火墙). I asked what this would cost because by then I was beginning to "smell a rat". She said it would be almost four hundred American dollars. That's when I realized I was being cheated and told her I would think about it and call her back. Then I called my son, a computer expert.

My son told me that there were scammers(骗子) out to take advantage of people like me. They want to steal my information and my money in the electronic bank. My son also told me never to let anyone into my computer again without checking with him first. I'm getting to look down on the hackers and always remember to watch out the strange phone numbers online.

From asking "Will you marry me?" to saying "I do", there are a number of traditions around the British weddings (婚礼).

Traditionally, it is the man's job to offer a marriage. He should get down on one knee and give a ring. However, today it's also becoming more common for women to offer.

Weddings have a long time to prepare. One of the main parts of the ______________ is to celebrate the end of your single life(单身). These men-only or women-only parties often take a whole weekend or more and are lots of fun.

The church(教堂)is still a popular wedding place, but today many people prefer more choices like in town halls, hotels or even in unusual places such as railway stations, schools or lawn(草坪).

Traditionally, the bride(新娘) wears a long, white dress and the groom(新郎) a dark suit. During the wedding, the bride and groom make promises to each other and agree to be husband and wife by saying "l do" and exchanging rings. They are then married and kiss each other while the guests clap and cheer!

Following the wedding there is the party or "wedding reception (接待). "After dinner the groom and father of the bride usually give a speech. Then there is the couple's first dance, followed by everyone dancing until late at night. At some point during the party, the bride should throw her flowers and all the single women try to catch them. The lady who catches the flowers will be the next one to get married!

At the end of the party, the bride and groom leave to go on their honeymoon to enjoy their first holiday.

Many students have trouble sitting quietly. They play with things in hands, jump to do things before thinking. Most people feel distracted(注意力分散的)from time to time, but some feel this way almost all the time. Nearly 2. 5 million primary school students in the United States have ADHD(多动症). But people with ADHD can also achieve success in their fields.

Astronaut Scott Kelly

He has flown to the space four times. But when he was growing up, he had trouble in school and got low grades. "I read a novel in college about space. The book gave me great inspiration. It encouraged me to study harder and become a much better student, and finally, an astronaut. Find something or someone that can encourage you and never give up on yourself. "

Reporter Katherine Ellison

She is a great newspaper reporter with ADHD. Today she accepts ADHD as a part of her biggest challenges and her greatest successes." A lot of very successful people have ADHD, so wear it with pride. Know that you are going to make a lot of mistakes. Do not make excuses and try to learn a lesson from each one. "

Skaters Zachary Donohue

He won a silver medal for ice dancing at the 2018 International Skating Union World Figure Skating Competition. He had a hard time making friends when he was young because of his ADHD. "When I was 16, I realized that it was OK for me to be different from others. Now at 27, I am learning to understand my own feelings. I've learned how important it is to be organized and to be a step ahead - it helps slow me down, which is important for someone with ADHD. "

If you think you might have ADHD, talk to a parent, doctor, teacher, or another adult you trust. ADHD can be treated and the adults in kids' lives can set them up for success.
