Do you do team projects at school? I do a lot. I enjoy team projects because I like sharing ideas with other people. Of course, team activities aren't always easy. You need to know how to work well together. Here are some suggestions to make team work easier.

·Know the goals

Make sure everyone understands the goal of the project. If you're doing a class project, you need to check the teacher's instructions carefully and ask questions whenever something isn't clear. There's a popular saying: If you don't know where you're going, you probably won't get there.

·Assign(指派)roles

Everyone should have a role in the team. For example, there should be a leader who helps everyone make decisions. There might be a note-taker who writes down the team's ideas during meetings, and a time-keeper to control the time. There might also be a fact-checker or a group speaker.

·Divide the work

For large projects, the work can be divided into smaller tasks. Then you can choose tasks that you do well or enjoy. Of course, you shouldn't always do the same task. It's good to try new things, even if they're difficult!

·Make a plan

After you divide the work, write down a plan on paper. You can use a calendar to help you. List all the tasks and think about when each one must be finished. It's important for everyone to follow the plan. And if you can't finish your part on time, tell the others as soon as possible.

Try to be positive. Everything is easier when you're enjoying yourself in the team.

Prince Caspian's parents died. He lived with his uncle, Miraz, the King of Narnia and his aunt. Though he had wonderful toys, he liked best the last hour of the day when the toys had all been put away and Nurse would tell him stories.

He didn't care much for his uncle and aunt, but about twice a week his uncle would ask him to come and have a walk together.

One day, while they were doing this, the King said, "Well, boy, we must soon teach you to ride and use a sword(剑). You know we have no children, so it looks as if you might have to be King when I'm gone. How shall you like that, eh?"

"I don't know, Uncle," said Caspian. "What do you wish?" asked the King. "I wish-I wish- I wish I could have lived in the Old Days," said Caspian.

Up till now the King had been talking in a tiresome way, which made it quite clear that he wasn't really interested in what they were saying, but he suddenly gave Caspian a sharp(锐利的)look.

"Eh? What's that?"he said."What old days?"

"Oh, don't you know, Uncle?" said Caspian."Once there was a White Witch(女巫)and she made herself Queen of the whole country. And she made it so that it was always winter. And then two boys and two girls came from somewhere, and they killed the Witch and were made Kings and Queens of Narnia. And so they ruled for a long time and everyone had a lovely time, and it was all because of Aslan."

"Who's she?" said the King. If Caspian had been a little older, the tone(语气)of his uncle's voice would have warned him it would be wiser to shut up. But he talked on...

The conflict(冲突)between Russia and Ukraine itself may be a questionable topic, yet it is the people who suffer the most. More than 4 million Ukrainians had fled from their homeland one month after it began. It was the biggest migration(移民)wave since World War Ⅱ.

I wanted to help by being a volunteer. However, it was difficult because I don't speak Russian or Ukrainian. Luckily, after searching on the internet, I was finally able to sign up to volunteer in a modern gallery called Svetova.

The gallery is owned by an overseas Chinese in Prague, Czech Republic, and had over 40 volunteers to provide help for the Ukrainian refugees(难民). During a two-week intensive(集中的)aid program, the gallery provided a place to live and food for up to five people for free and also served as a safe and interesting space for children, where English classes, games and other fun activities were organized.

Because of my busy school and work timetable, I was only able to volunteer there twice. But, besides the owner and his family, I was the first Chinese volunteer. My role was to help the refugees fill out registration(登记)papers. Sometimes, it was difficult with the language barrier, but there were translators to help.

I was so impressed by one Ukrainian mother and her two kids, who still had such kind smiles and bright eyes, though they must have experienced all the awful things. Some other people may not be able to easily understand their feelings, but I really valued this chance to be with those people in need, doing what I could. Because we are all humans, we should come together in difficult times.

Do you often ask questions? Children are known for wanting answers to many questions because curiosity is part of human nature. Books and TV shows often depend on curiosity. People keep reading or watching because they want to find out what happens.

As we all know, curiosity provides many advantages. Many of history's greatest discoveries were made by curious people. People wondered how things worked and how work could be done more quickly. Thanks to their curiosity, people now know far more about the world and have useful technology to help them. Even if you don't plan to be an inventor or researcher, curiosity can still help you in the classroom. If you develop the curiosity of learning, classes will become more interesting. You will be good at them because you enjoy the process of learning. Even if you're no longer a student, curiosity will make you an able worker.

What will you do if you're not already curious? Luckily, curiosity is a skill that can be improved. Often, the more you learn about a topic, the more interesting it becomes. To improve your curiosity, get information from as many sources(来源)as possible when you learn about a topic. At the same time, read all kinds of books, watch or listen to speeches and ask questions. Don't always get information in the same way. Instead, learn to understand the facts that different people know.

Don't think you already know everything. Instead, search for other possibilities and opinions. Remember, everyone knows something that you don't know. Find out what it is, and ask about it. This lets you learn something and makes the other people happy by sharing their knowledge. Let's try to become people who are full of curiosity.
