My grandpa，once a strong man，is getting older and needs more help.However，as my parents and I work far away from him，we have difficulty looking after him.We can only visit him once a week.Although we call him every day，we are still worried about him.

Luckily，a group of volunteers are helping us with our problem.They help look after my grandpa.They visit him regularly（定期地）.They do some cleaning for him.They also make sure that he takes his medicine on time.

The volunteers do not just give my grandpa physical help.They're like good friends to him.They spend a lot of time talking with him.They play chess and go for a walk with him.Sometimes they even cook meals with him.When he isn't happy，they always do something to lift his spirits.

The help from these kind﹣hearted volunteers means a lot to my family.It lets us know my grandpa is fine.▲He often talks about what the volunteers do together with him.When we hear my grandpa's laughter（笑声），we are happy，too.

It's a wonderful thing when people come together to help each other.It makes you know that you are not alone，and there's always someone ready to give a helping hand.
