How are you? I'm fine. I'm in London, at the International (国际的) School of English. I'm in Class 3 with eight students. They're from different countries—Spain (西班牙), Japan, Argentina (阿根廷), Switzerland (瑞士) and Thailand (泰国). Our teacher's name is Henry Briscall. He's very nice. He's a very good teacher. 

I'm living with an English family. Mr. and Mrs. Brown have three children. Thomas is fourteen, Catherine is twelve, and Andrew is seven. They are all very friendly, but it isn't easy to understand them!

London is very big and very interesting. The weather is good—cold but sunny—and the parks are beautiful! Hyde Park, Green Park, and St. James' Park are all in the city centre (中心). 

English food is OK, but the coffee is horrible (可怕)!

It is good to keep animals in zoos. Zoos are places for people to see many different kinds of animals from all over the world. Without zoos, most people would never see a real tiger or bear. Secondly, zoos look after the animals very well. The animals are always given food and cleaned on time. In the wild, it is not always possible for an animal to find food, so sometimes it goes hungry. Thirdly, Zoos protect the animals. They offer them safe place to live in. In the wild, some kinds of animals are in danger of becoming extinct（灭绝）. But zoos give these animals a chance to live. Without zoos, there would be fewer kinds of animals in the world. 

 However, some people think it is unnatural(非自然的) and unfair to keep wild animals in cages. Most animals are kept in cages that are too small for them. The animals such as bears and tigers always look sad in cages. Wild animals should look for their own food. Anyone would not feel happy if he isn't allowed(允许) to go outside his home and animals don't like it either.

Then Mr. Ma gave some examples. One patient, a middle school student from Xi'an was doing badly in his lessons. He thought his teachers and friends often laughed at him, and he became so a nervous and worried boy that one night he left his home without telling parents. Another student, a 14-year-old schoolgirl from Shanghai, was very afraid of exams. While she was reading the exam paper, she couldn't think of anything to write. 

A recent report from Jiefang Daily says about 18% of the young students in Shanghai have mental problems. They often fell worried and very unhappy. Unluckily many of them won't go to ask for help. Some think they will look stupid if they go to see a doctor. Others won't talk about their secrets. 

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Ma offered some good ideas to young people:

*Talk to your parents or teachers often. 

*Take part in group activities. 

*Try to get on well with the people around you. 

*Go to see a doctor if you often feel unhappy.
