The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The National Air and Space Museum in Washington. And the German Historical Museum in Berlin.

 And those are only part of the list. 

 Children from more than 180, 000 families in China can now go on virtual(虚拟的) tours of ten world-famous museums. The programs provide video clips, cartoons and commentary(实时解说) by Chinese experts. The shows are produced by Aha School, an education company. The families each pay 15 yuan to watch. The company also gives away the programs to 174 rural(乡村的) classrooms. 

 Ma Xiaoyan is a teacher in Sichuan. He says the children there are very poor. They have never visited a museum. For some of them, even going to the closest town is difficult. 

 Educators are excited about the museum project. It shows how live streaming(在线直播) can help improve rural education. The technology is already widely popular on social media. However, it was not until recently that it had been used for education. 

 Aha School is not alone. A few urban schools in China have also begun sharing their lessons with rural schools. But some of the projects fail to produce the expected effect. That is because students in rural classrooms have very different backgrounds. 

 The museum project of Aha School has been a success. Pan Lisheng, the head of the company, says the problem doesn't lie in the technology. Instead, it is because few educators have worked out how to make the lessons interesting. 

 Pan and his workmates make sure that their programs will interest children from any background. "Every child is a unique(独一无二的) flower, " Pan said. 

"Milano Cortina 2026 might be my last Winter Olympics. Whatever the result will be, I have only one goal, which is to go beyond my earlier results, "33-year-old Olympic champion Xu Mengtao said at her book launch party(新书发布会). 

 Xu was born in 1990 in Liaoning Province. Her parents ran a BBQ restaurant, where Xu would help out during holidays. Xu started her sports career at the age of 4 as a gymnast, before changing to freestyle skiing aerials(自由式滑雪空中技巧) at the age of 12, when she was considered too tall to continue gymnastics. 

 Xu has won 55 freestyle skiing aerials championships so far, but they have come at a cost. 

 Xu has had four operations on her knees. When she took part in the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics, there were steel pins(钢钉) in her knees. Just as at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, she wanted to get an Olympic gold medal. Unluckily, she failed to achieve her goal, although she tried her best. 

 But failures, painful injuries and lonely months of recovery didn't stop her. Xu finally realized her dream at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, by completing three somersaults(空翻) on her final jump. 

 In her book, Xu records her true feelings about her life over the past 30 years, her memories of heart-stopping international competitions, the number of medals she won, the low points she managed to overcome and her full preparation for each competition. "Plan each jump, review each problem and look for every possibility. The real situation is unpredictable, so I have to be fully prepared, " Xu wrote in the book. 

"I hope my personal experience can encourage more people to go after their dreams, " Xu added. "Don't stop trying. It's hard to say when your efforts will pay off, but they will do surely at the most important moment. "

②The Dead Sea is actually a lake in the Middle East. At four hundred meters below sea level, it's the lowest point on Earth. It lies between the borders of Jordan, Israel, and the West Bank. It's about 80 kilometers long, 11 kilometers wide at its widest point, and377 meters deep at its deepest. The lake is surrounded by hot, dry desert on all sides. 

③Since it's in a hot desert, water evaporates (蒸发) faster than the lake is refilled. And the area is lower than all the land around, the water can never flow back out, it can only evaporate. And that's what happens-water continually evaporates. In fact, so much water is evaporating from the Dead Sea, it often looks like there's a cloud of fog hanging over the lake. Anyway, as the water evaporates, it leaves behind the salt and minerals(矿物质). The water in the Dead Sea is almost six times saltier than ocean water!

④Because the Dead Sea is so salty, almost nothing can live there, except for bacteria and one type of algae. Any fish or freshwater animal that gets washed into the lake dies almost immediately. And the shores are covered in thick salt crystals(结晶), so animals can't even live near the lake either. That's why it's called Dead Sea. 

⑤Since it's so salty, why do people go there to cover themselves from head to toe with its mud? Actually, those minerals are supposed to be really good for your skin. No wonder lots of spas and health resorts have been built in the area. Though the water in the Dead Sea is so salty, it is totally safe for people. You can even go swimming there if you want, although it's pretty hard to swim because all that salt makes it much easier to float! It's really unbelievable.

Running is good for you.

 Every day in newspapers and magazines there are articles telling us we should exercise more. And scientists now say that running is one of the best ways to keep fit.  Some say it can even make you live longer. 

Get started!

 You don't need to buy special clothes but you should get a good pair of trainers. And remember - you should always buy trainers for running one size larger than your usual shoes. 

Make each day different!

 Some people find running boring, so go cycling or swimming instead sometimes.  It's very important to rest two or three times a week. You should eat well and drink lots of water but you can still have nice things like chocolate sometimes. Do some leg and stomach exercises, because this helps you run better. 

Enter a race!

 If you're a beginner, there are lots of ways to make exercise fun. You can join a group or you can exercise with a friend. Another idea is to enter a race. 

What else can you do to make exercise fun? 

 My love of inventing began when I was a kid. It wasn't until I 1 about Thomas Edison that I really became excited about it. 

 When I was in fourth grade, our teacher gave us a2 . We had to write to a company and learn about the products it made. Each student would then give a report in front of the class. I 3 the Thomas A. Edison Company.

 On the floor of the same building, they both witnessed(见证) a moment that would(闪耀) forever in their memories. The past invention, a wonder of engineering and science, (成功地) completed its first test. Filled with pride and excitement, they realized they had accomplished something extraordinary. 

 Years later, the young man became a famous (亚洲 的) scientist, always remembering to (道歉) for his mistakes but never backing down from a challenge. He did research, striving to create and inspire. They both knew that true heroes are not born, but made through dedication(坚持), hard work, and the courage to explore the unknown. And by doing so, they discovered heroes within (他们自己). 

 Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday. It is one of  four top traditional Chinese festivals with a history of over 2, 000 years. 

 Dragon Boat Festival ( fall) on the fifth day of the fifth month lunar. This year, Chinese will have a 3-day public holiday  Saturday to Monday for celebrations. The dragon boat race is one of them. And it is ( warm) welcomed. 

 Many believe that Dragon Boat Festival ( celebrate) to remember the death of Qu Yuan, a famous Chinese poet. He jumped into the Miluo River for his country. The local people searched for Qu Yuan's body,  failed. To stop fish from harming his body, people threw zongzi into the river ( feed) the fish. Over time, eating zongzi and the boat race have been the traditional activities of Dragon Boat Festival. 

 Do you know that" Happy Dragon Boat Festival" might not be a good greeting for ( we), although it sounds quite natural? For we Chinese, "Safe and Healthy Dragon Boat Festival" is much ( popular) than that greeting. 

 In addition to Chinese, many other ( country) also celebrate this festival. For example, in Singapore, the local seafood is used to make zongzi. Actually, Dragon Boat Festival has been a world-wide festival today.
