    The Chinese paper­cut has a long history of around 2，000 years. You can see it in many places of China. Many people like it. People in the north of China are very good at making paper­cuts. They make them in different shapes, like birds, animals and flowers.

    Chinese paper­cuts are very beautiful. People usually put them on doors and windows when theycelebratefestivals like the Spring Festival (春节). More and more young people like making paper­cuts now. They hope they can do better than their parents or grandparents.
