Last weekend I visited Rome for the first time. I spent three busy days in the Italian capital. Here are the things that I loved most about the city.
The history
Rome is one of the oldest cities in the world. It is full of wonderful old things. Here are many old buildings and temples(寺庙).
The art
We walked around the museums in Rome and saw lots of famous sculptures(雕塑). They were wonderful. AndI couldn't move my eyes away from them.
The food
In Rome, I tried to find right restaurants to taste the popular meals of the city. I also loved eating ice cream and hot chocolate.
Shopping
Rome has plenty of shops. I bought some presents for my family and friends.
I love seeing new places, especially capital cities. I visited Amsterdam and London last summer. Next, I would love to see more places of great interest outside of Europe.
