It was a quiet midnight. There was a full in the sky and the moonlight shone bright.
Mrs. Black was asleep. Suddenly, her dog started barking loudly. She up. She didn't know what happened outside, so she went to the window and looked of the window. But she found nothing unusual outside. Then she was very with the dog. She held up a shoe and hit the dog it. The dog stopped barking at once and away as quickly as possible. Mrs. Black went back to sleep again.
But a few minutes ，she heard the dog making a noise under the window. She got even angrier than before. She jumped out of the bed, held up the other and wanted to hit the dog again.
，when she went close to the window, she found the dog looking at her and carrying the shoe with its mouth. She felt sorry for the dog. She thought it was a good dog. She wouldn't do the same thing again in the future.
