Mount Fuji is a big beautiful mountain in Japan. It is to the west of Tokyo on the main(主要的) island of Honshu. At 3,776 meters, it is the highest mountain in Japan. People can see itin the distanceon clear sunny days. The mountain is very beautiful. There is a lot of wonderful nature(自然) near Mount Fuji, such as big forests and clear lakes.
In spring, there are many flowers near Mount Fuji and everything looks very peaceful(宁静的). For this reason, Mount Fuji is the most popular in Japan. About 300,000 visitors climb the mountain each year. Although climbing Mount Fuji can be difficult, the view (风景) from the top of the mountain is wonderful. From there, you can see the wonderful hills and green forests below(在……下面). Many people go up the mountain at night so they can see the sun come up in the morning.
