Woolly mammoths could be up to 3.5 meters tall. They had small ears and long hair. They could live in very cold places.

Scientists will use gene technology(基因技术) to do the job. In the past, people found dead(死的) woolly mammoths in Siberia. And scientists got DNA from them.

They will combine (混合) the woolly mammoth DNA with an Asian elephant DNA, so the new mammoth will look like the woolly mammoth and also the Asian elephant. Scientists will call it a "mammophant".
