A teacher usually taught his students in special ways. One year, he asked four students to go to see apple trees in different seasons. The first student went there in spring, the second in summer, the third in autumn, and the last in winter.

After the four students came back, they described(描述) the trees to the teacher. The first student said, "All leaves on the trees were green and beautiful." The second student said differently, "The flowers looked so nice and smelt good.” But the third student said he only saw apples on the trees. "Theytasted good, but I couldn't see any flowers."

"Really? Why didn't I see any leaves, flowers, or apples?" the last one said. "The trees looked really ugly." Just then, the teacher said, "You're all right, but you each just saw one season. The trees aren't the same in different seasons. You can't tell a tree by only one season."

Everything has different sides in life. So don't tell what a thing or a person is like before seeing all of it.
