Everyone is welcome: adults and children are free to use the Internet, read books, newspapers or magazines, ask for information and join in organized activities.
In order to borrow books, you need to join the library. Membership is free, and open to everyone living, working or studying in Oxfordshire.
Fill in an application (申请)form (available from any Oxfordshire library) and provide confirmation (确认)of your name, address and signature (签名),such as a family allowance (津贴) book or driving license (驾照).There is nothing to pay.
It is usually up to twenty books at any one time. There are separate limits for other media. Please ask for our current leaflet on hiring CDs, videos, DVDs, audio cassettes and CD-ROMs.
Normally three weeks for books. Other media are hired by the week. The date of return is stamped on the date label.
You can renew books by telephone, post, by using the online borrower services or at the library unless someone else is waiting for them. You must pay an additional hire charge for other media.
