Adam, a freshman at a senior high school, found his first week was a little (confuse). First, he wondered which courses he wanted (take). Luckily, the school adviser (help) him a lot. One of the courses he chose was Chinese, and he hoped he could speak it (fluent) after graduation. He also signed up advanced literature because he likes English and he is good a it. Besides, he wanted to join the school football team, the coach told him that he didn't play well enough. Although he felt unhappy, he didn't lose heart and decided to practise (play) football so that he could join the team next year. Instead, Adam joined volunteer club to do his best to help the homeless in the community. As a freshman, Adam met with many (difficult), but he didn't quit. He tried(he) best to study harder to get well prepared for university or whatever else comes in the future.
