People in the UK or in the US have a white Christmas. But Christmas in Australia is very different.

Christmas comes in summer in Australia. It can be over 40℃ in some cities. Before Christmas, people usually buy presents for their relatives and friends. On Christmas Day, They always have lunch with their family. Christmas lunch is usually a big meal of turkey, pudding, salad and seafood. Because it is very hot, people usually have lunch outside（室外）and swim in the pool.

The sport of cricket（板球）is very popular in Australia. People usually play a game of cricket in the backyard（后院）.

People in Australia also have a lot of fun at Christmas.
