Riding electric scooters on the road is a cool sport! Riders put their bodies forward and the scooter goes faster. And it stops when the riders put their bodies backwards. However, now people can't ride electric scooters on public roads in Shanghai and Beijing anymore. If they get caught, they will have to pay 10 yuan each. Why? They can easily knock into cars or hurt people on the roads.

    The British TV station ITV stopped all its programs for an hour on Aug. 27 this year. A British man turned on his TV to ITV channel that day. There were no programs, but a line on it was saying, "The nation's biggest ever sports day." It wanted to encourage more people to go outside and do sports. On that day, more than 2,000 sports clubs opened their doors to people. Many Olympic players also did sports together with people.

The city is going to make them compulsory courses (必修课), according to China Daily. Beijing will also make 66 ice rinks (溜冰场) before 2022.
