My mother is an excellent mother who always accompanies me and studies with me from morning to night. When I was one year old, I became deaf and dumb. The reason why these happened is that a fever caused my eardrum(耳膜) to bleed. This was a big blow to me and my family.
We have travelled a lot to treat it, but the doctor's conclusions always disappoint us. Many people advised my mother to send me to thedeaf-muteschool, but she did not give up. For me, she learnt lip language and then taught me how to speak and read.
My mother insisted on letting me go to normal school, so she made an incomprehensible decision: she resigned and went to school with me. In this way, from primary school to senior high school, my mother and I study together. She is my ear and guide. My teachers and classmates also provided the best conditions for us. After continuous practice, I can be just like a normal person.
Today, I major in electrical engineering in Hebei University of Technology. I am a sensible man. In order to reduce the financial burden of my family, I work part-time and provide express services for my classmates. I hope to repay my parents, teachers and all those who helped us.
