June 12 at 19: 35. New York

I am so excited. I am off on a journey on my own for the first time. I can't wait! I am going to Europe to see some cities I really want to visit. It is great because I can choose what I want to do in each city. I am going to travel by train in Europe.

June 15 at 15: 30. Salzburg

Now I am in Salzburg. The quiet hills of Austria are a great place to relax. The movie The Sound of Music was filmed around this area. I can enjoy the sights of the mountains and the river from my hotel window. Mozart, the famous musician, was from here.

June 17 at 20: 15. Amsterdam

The train ride to Amsterdam today was a long one. It gave me time to write some postcards to my relatives. Amsterdam is a fun city, full of friendly locals. I spent the whole day visiting the art museums. I also took a boat ride along the river.

June 19 at 21: 20. Copenhagen

Travelling alone, I have been very careful to keep safe. Luckily, I am in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is one of the safest places in the world. There is very little crime(犯罪活动) here. Andersen, a famous writer of children's books, was born in this city bought two of his books.
