I work at THON. THON is a charity(慈善组织).  It helps to improve the lives of children with cancer(癌症).

I knew about this charity when my teacher showed me a video. The video was about the THON Weekend—a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon(马拉松).

I'm now receiving (接受) weekly training to learn how to keep children safe (安全的) during the THON Weekend. There are many interesting activities. THON 5k is one of them. It's a large race with over 4,000 runners. People come and run across a school. Marathons are not easy for those runners with cancer. So we make signs to show them the right way. We also set up many stations to prepare enough water and food for those runners.
