I was catching an early flight back home. I hadn't gotten many sleep but figured I'd get some sleep on the airplane. When I got on the plane, I could only find back-row window seat. Right before the plane was leaving a young mother and her 6-month-old daughter get on the plane. The only two seats free were the one next to me. I immediate thought my restful flight would now be filled by the cries of a baby. I let her have the middle seats. As we started talking about, she told me that she was terrifying of flying. I spent the next hour enjoy the company of this lady and her baby girl.
