In America, students go to school from Monday to Friday. Classes always finish at about 3: 00 pm. So they have a lot of free time for after school activities. For American students, there are two main（主要的） kinds of after school activities.
The first kind is in school, such as school clubs, sports meetings and school shows. Students like school clubs best. There are many clubs for them to join. Most students join one club. Some even join two or more clubs. On weekdays, many students play sports in school.
The second kind is out of school. In America, many zoos, parks, libraries and museums are free for students. Students usually go to different places. They think they can learn a lot there. Some students like to go to the summer camp. They think it is more interesting.
After-school activities are popular in America. They are very important to students.
