"Good morning, SugarLoaf," says Mom. "Your brother Spoke is going to take you to visit Grandpa at work. I know it's your favourite place in the world." SugarLoaf jumps up and says, "The library—I love books!" Mom smiles (微笑) and says, "And maybe we can give Grandpa a book too."
SugarLoaf's mom takes out a book that is all white, no words, and no pictures. "How about giving him this book?" she asks. SugarLoaf isconfused. She asks, "How can Grandpa read an empty book?"
“It's a special book, SugarLoaf," says Mom. "It's a blank (空白的) book. We can tell the story of our family. Let's start with you, SugarLoaf. What is your favourite colour?""Orange!" SugarLoaf says.
"Can you draw a picture of yourself wearing something orange?" asks Mom. "I can write something about it after you draw the picture." "OK, Mom," SugarLoaf says.
