However, AI technology developed very slowly for a long time. Not until 1997, Deep Blue defeated the world chess champion, did AI make a major breakthrough. In 2017, KeJie, arguably the best human Go player, （beat）by a computer program named AlphaGo, marking a significant advance in deep-learning AI systems.
AI is currently being applied in many fields, （transform）the way we live. Apparently, we are at a turning point in history.
