    Nobody knew that Gemma had a secret(稳密)．Not even her older sister or her parents had any idea．She never told anyone, because she didn't think that they would understand．Everyone knew that Gemma was imaginative(富于想象力的)．They also knew that she was a very shy and quiet young girl．What they didn't know was that Gemma's best friend was imaginary．They had been friends for more than two years．Her name was Taylor．She was the very best friend that a young girl could hope for．

    Gemma and Taylor often played together．They often played on the swings in the park．They also liked to play with Gemma's dolls(玩具娃娃)in her bedroom．

    At night they talked with each other and shared stories until Gemma fell asleep．Even when Gemma was with other friends, she always thought about Taylor．They were always together and sharing jokes between themselves．

    One day Taylor disappeared．Gemma was very sad．She looked everywhere for her, but she was nowhere to be found．She couldn't even tell her family why she was so▲because they had no idea about Taylor．

    For a long time，Gemma was very quiet and didn't speak very much to anyone．After she finally accepted that Tyler was gone，she made new friends and grew even closer to her sisters．

    Losing Taylor made Gemma love her family and Mends more．She always remembered Taylor though and all the fun that she brought into her life．
