Toby Bear and Nana Bear were good friends. Nana Bear told great stories and made the world's best cookies. Toby Bear loved visiting Nana Bear.
Nana Bear had a yellow parrot. She called it Lottie Dot and she loved it very much. But one cold morning, the parrot flew away. When Nana Bear found Lottie Dot was lost, she was very sad. Everyone looked for it, but nobody found it. Toby Bear made some posters telling people about Lottie Dot, then he put them up on all the trees in the street. But it didn't help.
Toby Bear wanted to cheer Nana Bear up. He drew a lovely picture of Lottie Dot on a card. He made it with lots of care and lots of love. Next, he found a large sheet of newspaper and wrapped （包裹）the card with it. After that, he decorated （装饰）the newspaper envelope （信封）with a big red heart.
“Oh, my! How beautiful!” Nana Bear unwrapped （打开）the newspaper and saw the card. Suddenly, she pointed at a message in the newspaper, “Look, Toby, someone had found Lottie Dot! Let's go and get her. "
Then she and Toby Bear rushed to Mr and Mrs Cottontail's house. When Mrs Cottontail opened the door, Lottie Dot flew into Nana Bear's arms with delight. They were very happy to get Lottie Dot back at last.
