There is no need to hurry up for the train or bus. You could wake up whenever you want and drive as for as you want.
You need to make plans only several days before you start your journey. You can stay longer if you like the place and leave earlier if you don't.
Traveling by car may save money for you as you can buy food in the supermarkets in the countryside. There things are much cheaper. You can cook food by yourself as you may bring an electric oven(电烤炉) and camp in the outside.
Many places of interest are far away from the city center. The public transport(公共交通) may not be so convenient. Cars allow you to visit as many places of interest as you want and you will spend much less money traveling by car.
You may take more things with you. When traveling by car you can take everything you might need. You can take a small refrigerator(冰箱), so that you will have cold drinks whenever you want. You can bring an electric oven to cook. You can also take clothes for mountain climbing.
