•End of Heat

It begins in August and ends in September. People will say goodbye to hot summer and enter autumn. People are busy preparing for the farm. It's necessary for people to get enough rest.

•Winter Solstice (冬至)

It's around December 22. It's just the time to step into Chinese New Year. To keep energy during the cold winter, people eat mutton dumplings or pancakes in northern China. But in the southeast, people like to eat Tangyuan or chicken soup on that day.
