No dinner for the foxes
One day, a mother fox is out looking for food. Baby fox is with her. They see some ducks in the pond (池塘).
Baby fox says," l like to eat ducks. I think we can catch one."
Mother fox says, "We can't catch ducks in the water. They can swim very fast."
The foxes hide in the tall grass. They watch the ducks playing in the pond. At last, eight ducks come out on the land.
Mother fox says," Now we can catch a duck. Ducks don't walk fast." "I'll grab that first duck." says Baby fox.
Mother fox says, "Wait until they get near us. Ready? Go!" The foxes jump out of the grass.
As quickly as they jump out, the ducks get away. Do they run away? No! Do they swim away? No! The ducks fly away!
Mother fox says, "I forget that ducks have wings. Now we have nothing to eat!"
