It's October 31st. It's Halloween. The children are very happy. They are making masks(面具). They are making jack­o'­lanterns(南瓜灯). Then they dress up like ghosts(扮作鬼). In the evening, they go from door to door. They knock at the door of a house and cry, "Trick or treat! " A woman comes out and gives them some sweets. They thank her and go to another house. They knock at the door and cry, "Trick or treat! " This time a tall ghost comes out. The children cry "Ah! A ghost! " and run away. "Don't run away, " the ghost cries. "It's just us. We are Bob and Rob. " The children all laugh.
