Having a net friend (网友) can be great in our life. You can talk about your ideas and feelings with other people on the Internet (因特网). Before you make a net friend, it is good to think about the following things.

On the Internet, you cannot easily know the real identities (身份) of people like what they work as, how old they are, or where they live. You must be careful (小心的) and never give your address (地址) or phone number tothemif you are not sure about their real identities (身份). Also, don't give them your e-mail address, because some bad people can find you very quickly.

Never answer a message that gives you a job, money or an invitation (邀请), because it's always a swindle (诈骗).
