A cinema-goer who suffered a heart attack while watching the latest Bond movie was saved by fellow film fans who performed CPR on him. The film's title? No Time to Die.
81-year-old Malcolm Clarke had been revisiting childhood haunts (常去之处) in and around Chesterfield where he grew up as a1for his birthdays. Then he had gone to2the new Bond film with his wife on Saturday night to make the latest3more impressive.
4, Malcolm had a sudden heart attack at the Odeon cinema in Sheffield, South Yorkshire while watching the new film.5of the audience, believed to have included a doctor and a nurse,6came to Malcolm's7and helped keep him alive. Thankfully, their8were successful and the ambulance soon9and took Malcolm to Northern General Hospital. And now Malcolm is in a(n)10condition.
Malcolm's son-in-law, Andrew Wileman, said, "Four11people among the audience worked on him for about 15 minutes because he had12consciousness (意识). The ‘rescue team',13two ladies and two gentlemen, just14shortly after they did the good deed. There is no15that they saved Malcolm's life in the cinema."
"The consultant at the hospital said the quick CPR had saved his life in the16before the ambulance got there. He would have17, but he was lucky," Andrew added.
Andrew said he was "completely unconscious" while the kind people18to save his life using the on-site defibrillator (除颤器) in the cinema.
The family has been reunited with three of the four19and they were20to meet the fourth to say thanks.
