Last Sunday was my 11th birthday. My parents bought a hot air balloon ride for my birthday. Early in the morning we went to the beach. Pilot Dan met us there. Then we got into the basket and started the ride.

The weather was very good. The sun shone brightly. There wasn't much wind. We stayed up in the air for an hour. During the ride, we looked down at the blue ocean. It was beautiful. We also saw beaches, boats, buildings and hills. The landing (着陆) was the best part. Pilot Dan put us down slowly in the middle of a big square.
