I know China's Teachers' Day is coming up on September 10th. Are you ready for that? Hopefully you've got a plan to show your love and respect(尊敬) to your teachers. In the US we celebrate(庆祝) Teachers' Day during the first week of May.
Let me tell you what we do on this day. . Many kids make gifts by themselves, such as cards or pictures. I used to(曾经) bring delicious fruit to my favorite teachers. Later as I got older, I would do bigger things for them, such as inviting(邀请) them over for dinner.
The stores in our country have special sales for teachers on this day. Some restaurants provide（提供）free meals for teachers . It's a nice way to pay them back for all their hard work.
