Thomas Edison was a great American inventor. He was born in 1874. When he was a child he was always interested in everything. At the age of 5 years old, one day, his father saw him sitting on some eggs. He wanted to have some chickens. Edison was in school for only 3 months. He asked many strange questions to his teacher. And the teacher couldn't answer all of them. He thought Edison was a foolish boy. So he asked his mum to take Edison out of school.
