Maria is a little girl. She doesn't like weekends at all because (因为) she has to1at home. Her parents are busy with2work, so they have no time to stay with her. Maria 3to have a weekend with her parents!
This morning, Maria's parents get up early and cook breakfast for Maria.
"Dear, what's your 4 for this weekend?" asks her mum.
"Do my homework and watch TV," Maria answers sadly. "Let's do something different this time," her mum 5.
"I want to, but you and my father are always too busy!" says Maria.
"6about a picnic? We will go shopping and get some food and drinks this morning. "
Maria can't believe(相信) her ears! She is 7.
Then they 8a lot of food and go to a park. They fly kites, go boating and have a big lunch together. Everybody loves the picnic.
"Thank you9such a great picnic!" says Maria.
"We're 10, Maria. We don't spend (花费) much time with you. But we'll have more time to stay together from now on!" her parents say.
