Welcome to the Grand Canyon!

Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most popular parks in the United States. Every year, around 5.5 million people go to see the Grand Canyon. It is often considered one of the Wonders of the World.

The "South Rim(边,边缘)"

Most visitors see the Grand Canyon from the "South Rim. "The" South Rim" is open all year long. It includes:

◆Grand Canyon Village.

It can be reached by driving and is served by the Grand Canyon Railway.

◆Scenic Hermit Road west of the village.

◆Desert View Drive east of the village.

A free bus system operates on the "South Rim. "Make your visit easier by parking your car at the Visitor Center and using the free buses to travel around the "South Rim."

The "North Rim"

A much smaller number of people see the canyon from the "North Rim" of the park. The "North Rim" has a short season. During winter months, all roads are closed to visitors. Even in good weather, the "North Rim" is harder to get to.

Fees and passes

Admission(门票费)to Grand Canyon National Park is for seven days and includes both the "North Rim" and the "South Rim."
