Then you can easily get an apartment suitable for you.

Determine your budget properly.

This step is critical.  So let's get this part right. In fact, the amount you spend on rent should be no more than 30% of your income. Once you've determined the amount you can comfortably spend on rent, be careful not to go over that amount.

Decide your desired location.

Do you want to be within walking distance to work? Do you want to be close to friends or family? Are restaurants and nightlife important to you?  With these factors in mind, explore the neighborhoods and choose one that's most suitable.

Work with a real estate agent.

Real estate agents can help you find a good apartment. Ensure that you're working with one who has access to the apartments in the neighborhood you're interested in.

Go on tours.

There're some things you should be aware of as you go on apartment tours. You'll have many questions about the apartment, so write them down and find the answers during the tours. Besides, as you walk around, take plenty of pictures. Don't make the mistake of renting the first apartment you see!

Make your decision.
