Some students from a village in the Philippines(菲律宾) swim across a long river just to get to school. Students need to take some clothes to change after swimming. Swimming is dangerous for them. Compassion Center helps these students. The workers at the center think it's not good for students, so they buy a boat for them.
There is a river between their school and the village. To cross the river, now students take the boat. It's fun for these students to take the boat. Mary Joy Libante, a 13-year-old girl, likes to relax on the boat. These students take the boat with the help of their parents. After all the students cross the river, they run through a land of trees first and then walk through rice fields. Then, the students need to take a rough road. Some villagers help the students get across the road.
At the school, these students can learn many interesting things, do exercise, play sports, read stories and eat great food. This makes their long trip worth(值得) it!
