Dear Becky, 

I'm writing to you at home now. I just came back from Sludge Beach. Peter and I were on vacation there with the children for a few days. We were excited(激动的) when we got there, but we met a big problem later. 

The weather wasn't good. It always rained and was often cold. On the last day we stayed there, it rained cats and dogs. 

The children weren't happy. . They were bored(无聊的) and had a terrible time. They couldn't go to the beach because of the rain. They sat on the bed, played games and watched TV when it was raining. 

The restaurants there were expensive, and the food wasn't very good. We really had a terrible vacation. I hope our next vacation can be better.
