Being a kid may look fun, but sometimes it's not. I think it's not easy to be a kid. That's all because I must do what my parents tell me to do. When I was playing outside with my friends, my mother would say, "Peter, it's time to come home now. It's getting dark (暗的). " When I grow up, no one can tell me what to do or when to do it.
As a kid, I have to get up early in the morning and go to school. I have so many lessons to study and so much homework to do. When I grow up, I do not have to go to school and I never have homework.
There are so many things that I'm not allowed (允许) to do. Last Saturday, there was a scary movie on TV. It looked really exciting. But my father didn't let me watch. He said, "You're too young to watch this movie, Peter. " When I grow up, I can watch anything I want.
As I am a kid, I can't go anywhere by myself. Last Friday, I wanted to buy a birthday gift for my friend John. But I had to wait for my mom to come back home. When I want to go outside, I have to ask my mom for a ride. When I grow up, I can drive a car to go anywhere.
But I know that my mother and my father love me very much. They always say that I am the apple of their eyes. That's really great. So I guess (猜) I like being a kid, even though it's not easy to be a kid.
