A boy kept a little tortoise(乌龟). He liked it very much. On a cold day in winter, the boy wanted to make the tortoise hold out its head. ①He tried many times, butitdidn't even move a little.

The boy s grandfather saw it and helped the boy put the tortoise on a warm stove(炉子). ②After a while, the tortoise put its head, legs and tail     ▲     of his carapace(甲壳) because of the warmth. The boy was surprised and asked his grandfather for the reason. When you want others to do something as you wish, remember not to use a way of attacking(攻击), but to give him or her love and warmth. This way is sure to work, said his grandfather.
