17-year-old Jamarious Brown runs a cool new business. He paints white basketball shoes with his own designs. He likes to paint whatever comes to him. "I just speak my mind with a brush," he said. 

Jamarious got the idea of painting shoes after seeing a cool pair of shoes on the Internet. He was inspired. Then he found a pair of white shoes and started to paint. He used water and spray paint(喷漆) for his work and he loved the result. 

Jamarious is always creative. However, he wasn't interested in art until then. Now he paints shoes and adds thick shoelaces (鞋带) to them. He also spends time learning how to draw. 

So far, Jamarious has sold several pairs of his shoes. His favorite shoes are the pair he painted for his first customer. They were painted pink and red. "They just stand out,"Jamarious said. "There's no way you can see someone else with them on. " He likes to do something new for each customer. "I like to be creative and do different things to catch people's attention and make them happy," he said. "That's what motivated me to keep going. "

Sometimes Jamarious' shoes don't turn out the way he wants. But Jamarious does not feel bad. He saves those shoes in a box. He likes to compare them with the shoes he paints later. That way, he can see himself getting better over time. 

★. He wants to grow his business. He also wants to give back to his community. He wants to give away shoes to those who need them. "Seeing a smile on somebody else's face puts a smile on my face. ", he said.
