The rabbits— Alex，Bobby，Chris，and Dora watched the March wind blow （吹） outside. "Do not leave the 1  when I am out，"said their mother.Then she left for the town. 

The rabbits2  their rooms，made their beds and had lunch.All the time，Alex said， "I want to fly my kite.Let's fly our kites!"3  lunch，the rabbits sat by the window.They took out their kites，just to look at them.The March wind blew4  the house. 

"Let's just fly our kites in the garden，" said Alex. "Mother said we must not leave the house，" said Chris.The March wind blew some5  onto the window.Alex couldn't stand （忍受） it any more.He went outside with his kite.The other rabbits followed him and they ran around the house with their kites.They6  got tired of their garden. 

"We can go down the path，" said Alex.The rabbits flew their kites down the path into the forest，Suddenly，Alex shouted， "My kite is caught in a tree!" Just then，Grandpa Bear walked by.Grandpa Bear7  the tall tree and pulled the sting （线） from the tree.He brought it down and gave it to Alex "Be careful，now，" he said. "That kite may do8  things.You should always be good when you play by yourself." 

Alex took hold of his kite string，and he went up and up with it.Soon he flew out of sight （视野）.The other rabbits looked at him with tears （泪水） in their eyes.But Grandpa Bear let them go back home. "I have a feeling you'll see9  later，" he said. 

When they got home，Dora looked into the sky， "Is it Alex?" It was Alex，still holding the kite string.He came down and down toward the garden10  he reached the ground right in front of the door. "Did you learn to listen to your mother?" Grandpa Bear asked. "Yes，we did，" said the rabbits.
