Travel is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you are going to get when using a mystery (神秘) box plane ticket. 

Earlier this year, many young people in China have become interested in mystery box travel. Usually, people plan their journeys well ahead. But with a mystery box, travelers pay a low price, usually 100 or 200 yuan. Then, they will choose their leaving airport and have a list of destinations (目的地) to choose from. Once the destination is decided, their trip begins. 

A young man called Cheng dreams of going on a mystery box trip, saying that going out alone usually costs too much and that too many people don't know where to go. But the mystery box directly shows a few destinations, making it both exciting and affordable. 

Unlike Cheng, Liao Liangyu, 16, has made his dream to go on a mystery box trip come true. He and his friends bought mystery box tickets months ago, and they all got the mystery box ticket to Changsha, the capital city of Hunan province. 

Since the destinations include many less popular cities, travel mystery boxes also bring many advantages to these destinations. For example, Dehong City in Yunnan province wasn't well-known, but after being in mystery box choices, it got attention and became a popular tourist place.
