Have you ever heard of "National Smile Month", largest and longest mouth health activity in the UK. It (start) on the 14th of May in the UK in 1948. During this month, people are made to think about the (important) of brushing their teeth. They are also made to
think about (stay) away from sweet food and going to see the doctor from time to time. The doctor often gives (they) suggestions. Between 15 May and 15 June 2023, the Oral Health Foundation raised awareness of important oral health issues with the theme.
The British are famous their bad teeth. Even a dictionary has the expression "British Smile", meaning "Any smile with bad teeth". However, in America, "the Holly wood Smile" gets its name American movie stars are so proud to show off their beautiful teeth.
Do the British look sad all the time, or do they smile (little) than the Americans? It's said that the British don't often show their feelings. But actually, it all depends on the situation. For example, British people aren't allowed to smile in passport (photo). But if you are at a party, you'll find that everyone smiles (happy). So, the British smile as much as anyone else.
