A long time ago, there was a king. He had a beautiful garden. In the garden, there was a little nightingale（夜 莺）singing very 1 . 

One day, the king heard about this little bird's beautiful 2 . He asked his guard to bring her to him and put her in a golden cage, so she could sing for 3 whenever he wanted to hear her.

The little bird was not 4 . So she stopped singing one day. The king was very 5 . He asked the scientists in his palace to make a robot bird. The robot bird could sing very beautifully too. The king was pleased. 

Soon the king was ill and he became very weak. While he was 6 in bed, the king wanted the robot bird to sing 7 . 8 the robot bird was broken and couldn't sing any more. Suddenly, the nightingale began to sing. The king was very happy! He became 9 each day.

After the king was well, he 10  a lot and became kind. He took the nightingale out of the cage and made her free.
