Many people go to different countries in their lifetime. Maybe one day you will go abroad as an exchange student. There are different table (manner) in different countries. If you go to a (west) country, do you know how (behave) at the dinner table?Here are some basic table manners. They are worth remembering.
To start , put the napkin(餐巾纸) on your lap. This protects your clothes from food in your mouth. It can also (use) to clean your hands and mouth.
Hold the knife in (you) right hand and the fork in your left hand. Cut the meat fish into pieces as you eat.
Do not reach across table or in front of another person. Ask someone to pass whatever you want.
Try to be relaxed when having dinner. Eating in(silent) isn't any fun. But if you want to talk, remember to do it when you aren't(eat).
Use a handkerchief(手帕) when you cough or blow your nose.
