Tanvi had a birthday party at home yesterday.

A week ago, she ordered(订购)a special dress for the party. But when Tanvi's father took back the dress yesterday morning, Tanvi was really angry(生气的). She didn't like it. It was too short.

Tanvi stomped(跺脚)into her room and lay on the bed crying,"I don't want to have a party. Send everyone back home."Just then, some of her friends came."Happy birthday,dear

Tanvi!" they said. Hearing this, Tanvi sat up in bed. She started getting ready and putting on a different dress.

Then Tanvi came out of her room. Other friends came too. They sang the birthday song for her and gave her presents. Tanvi cut some cakes for everyone. After that, all people at the party played games. They all had a great time.

At night, Tanvi thought about the party in her bed. She didn't wear her favourite dress, but still enjoyed herself at the party.

Tanvi learned that it's good to make an adjustment(调整)in time. Don't get angry easily.
