Dear Sir, I am writing to complain (抱怨) about the terrible environment in our neighborhood. However, I could see, from the front of my house, that it was Greenford Park in the past. This place used to be beautiful and clean. But it is now being ruined (破坏). Are we, as local people, expected to keep our feelings inside? For the last month, I have noted the following actions that bring problems: ※The dropping of litter (废弃物),fast-food bags, etc.; ※The pouring of dirty water everywhere we walk; ※The ruined trees and wild plants when cars cross the area or park on it; ※The careless actions of dog owners who allow their pets to make the area dirty without clearing up the mess, which is bad for our health. ※Another problem is that there is noise from "music-making" devices (设备) in fine weather. As a result, we can't see any rabbits or other animals anymore. As people today pay more attention to "green", I expect that our government might take the chance to create an area that would better protect (保护) the wildlife. Yours faithfully, Mr. Wild |
