The first time I saw Suzy Khan, I knew I had to help her.
She was really small for her age of 12. She was from Africa and her parents died in an accident, so she was adopted by an American couple. Her new 1 wanted her to learn American ways of life. As they thought it was more 2 for Suzy to be with American kids, they sent her to school.
However, the boys in my class often 3 her and played jokes on her. Every time she would open a book 4 pretending to read. with tears dropping on it.
I felt pity for this 5 girl and promised myself I would help her.

On the day of the talent show, Suzy's posters were 10 —all over the hall and all over the school. "And finally," said Mr. Brown, the schoolmaster, at the end of the show, "we have a special 11 . I'm sure you've all noticed the wonderful posters. " Everyone nodded. "One of our own students painted them by 12 . Since this student worked so hard, she is worth the prize. "
I could hear everyone whispering. "Who in our school 13 draw so well?" Mr. Brown continued, "Our secret artist is our new student-Suzy Khan. "
He thanked her for all the wonderful posters and 14 her a professional artist's set as a gift. "Thank you," she cried. When I saw her excited face, I realized, that probably she had15 experienced a moment like this. Everyone started to cheer and clap their hands. I knew Suzy was going to be all right.
