Zhu Xiaolong, 35, teaches math at Weifang Central School in Xi'an. He is also football coach (教练) for the students.
Speaking about (he) role, Zhu said, "I want to become the best football coach among math teachers, and the best math teacher among football coaches."
Zhu became a football fan when he was very young. In 2013, he came with the idea of starting a football club in the school. The next year, the first football club in his school was set up. However, it was hard to teach the students most of them never touched football before.
"I plan my time (careful) every day, making the most of every minute," Zhu said. "While I was (try) to improve my math teaching, I also gave training for the football club at noon and during class breaks."
Slowly, more and more children became (interest) in football and joined the club. "Now football has become one of the most popular sports in our school, why not (have) a try?" the headmaster, Wang Shangwei said to all students.
In the last ten years, Zhu has taught more than 200 students football and guided the school team to win in several (competition).
"As a math teacher, I never thought that I could go this far in football teaching," Zhu said. "No matter (不论) math or football, it is my job (help) my students. I hope they could be healthy physically and mentally, and enjoy their life."
